The amount of sulfur should not be more than 40 to 80 grams per cubic meter. The Sulfur used in this method makes dried fruits stay soft, and it also prevents their color from darkening and preserves the content of vitamin A and vitamin C. Another method that is used in Sadat company is to dissolve compounds such as disulfide, sulfide, or metabolite sodium sulfide in one liter of water. We put the leafy apricots in it for five minutes and then wash them in cold water and place them on mesh trays to dry.
